Abstract:Embryogenesis were induced under 4 concentrations of 2, 4-D and NAA in immature cotyledon of soybean. The results showed that embryogenesis in soybean could be induced with, 2, 4-D and NAA. The difference of frequency of embroygenesis and means of embryo was not significant between 2, 4-D and NAA. The means of embryo was different among soybean varieties. The effect of higher concentration 2, 4-D to induce embryogenesis was better than lower one. The frequency of embryogenesis under 20 mg/L 2, 4-D was 41.23%. The high concentration 2, 4-D used in the first week of culture was very important when embryogenesis were induced in immature cotyledon of soybean.
