This paper described the basic contitute,structure and main products of corn and relative industry in China.The method of net import and export index was applied to analyse and evaluate the market competing capability of corn for seeds,corn for grain,semi_finished corn products,compound feed,livestock products and corn fine processing products form 1995 to 1999.Possible positive and negative effects were evaluated on those four kinds of products after China joined WTO.
