Eight maize varieties of different plant type were planted in four kinds of plant densities.The results showed that the different plant density had.Effect on anthesis-silking in-terval（ASI）and the anthesis-silking interal（ASI）is correlated to characters of yield component and grain yield of maize,this kind of correlation was not same under different plant density.
