A new japonica germplasm without auricle.Paraphyll or pulvinus was crossed with normal japonica rice varieties or lines,and the inheritance of the character was analyzed.The result showed that the character without auricle,Paraphyll and Pulvinus is controlled by a pair of recessive genes.There was not appearance of the character without auricle paraphyll and Pulvinus in the F₁. In the F₂, the individuals without auricle,Paraphyll and Pulvinus ac-counted for 1/4.There was not appearance of the single character of without auricle,Paraphyll or pulvinus.
