The pedigree of 41 high starch corn hybrids released in China was analyzed in the paper.These hybrids were classified into four groups,i.e.,improved Reid group,improved Huangzao 4 group,improved Luda red cob group and improved Lancaster group.Among these groups,the starch content of improved Reid group is the highest,in which the highest is more than 71%.The application,innovation and improving of high starch corn germplasm resources was discussed.
