Abstract:Using the Grey Relational Degree theory,the content of starch,fat,protein and lysine of 40 maize germplasm resources in Jilin province was determined and the relationship between these indexes and 100-kernel weight,shelling percentage and growth period was analyzed.The results indicated that the Grey Relational Degree between protein and lysine is the strongest.While the Grey Relational Degree between starch,protein and lysine is relatively weaker.Effect of growth period on starch content is bigger than that of 100-kernel weight.Effect of 100-kernel weight on fat content is bigger than that of growth period.The effect of 100-kernel weight on protein and lysine content is bigger than shelling percentage.This study will contribute a great deal to future quality breeding of maize.
