Correlation between maize grain density and other six characters was analyzed.The results indicated that there was positive correlation between grain density and yield,grain percentage,but they did not reach significant level.Grain density was significantly positively correlated with hundred kernel weight,and it was positively correlated with grain appearance quality,extremely significantly.Grain density was negatively correlated with days of growing period,water’s content,grain weight per ear,extremely significantly.
