The effect of activity of amylase and isoenzyme on animal performances,i.e.,daily gain,carcass traits,daily lean tissue gain,and weaning weight,was reviewed in the paper.Polymorphism and activity of amylase and its isoenzyme could be used as an index for prediction of animal performance.
