Abstract:TEU(three effects utilization) model is an important measure to produce high oil grain with normal corn hybrid by oil xenia effect.To study its effects in maize production,4 pairs of CMS normal hybrids and high oil pollinator,namely Cms-ND108×HO5580(1),Cms-ND108×HO6528(2),Cms-ND108×HO4515(3),Cms-Luyu13×HO5580(4),Cms-Luyu13×HO6528(5) and Cms-Luyu13×HO4515(6) were used with large plot in the experiment.The row ratio of CMS normal hybrids and pollinator was 3∶1 and 3∶3.The results showed that oil content of seed of 6 combinations was significantly increased.This indicated that quality of common maize grain could be improved by growing it with high oil cultural pattern.The yield of a combination with Cms-ND108 as mother was greatly increased but oil content was slightly increased,which indicated that the combination was proper but row ratio should be changed.The yield and oil content of combinations with Cms-Luyu13 as mother was both increased.This indicated that Cms-Luyu13 should be widespread in local TEU model of high oil corn.
