‘Tonghe 832’was bred by crossing‘Qiutian 32’with‘Fengxuan 2’.In three years’ regional ex-periment,its average yield was8758.5 kg/hm²,which was5.8% higher than the controlvariety‘Tong35’.In com-mercialproduction test,itsaverage yield was 8770.5 kg/hm²,which was 7.5% higher than the control variety‘Tong 35’.It was tested byInstitute ofPlant Protection,Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Jilin Province and the re-sultsindicated itwasresistant to Rice Blast.Accordingtotest of Rice Quality Monitor and Test Center,Ministryof Agriculture （Hangzhou）,quality of ’Tonghe832’ meetwith thesecond classricestandard.
