Abstract:Roundup-ready soybean line ‘RR-47’,its receptor ‘SW47’,and a soybean variety ‘Jiyu 84’ were used in this experiment.Two conventional herbicides acetochlor,quizalofop-p-ethyl,Imazethapyr mix-ture and glyphosate were applied with three different levels of treatment.The results showed that: ① For the treatments applied conventional herbicides,‘RR-47’and its receptor ’Jiyu 47’ performed similarly,and showed less tolerance than that of ‘Jiyu 84’.It indicated the tolerance to conventional soybean herbicides var-ied in varieties,and the introduction of glyphosate resistance gene had no influence on the tolerance to conven-tional soybean herbicides.② For the treatments applied glyphosate,the Roundup-Ready soybean line‘RR-47’ showed high level of tolerance,while its receptor ‘Jiyu 47’,and soybean variety ‘Jiyu 84’were not resistant to glyphosate.This demonstrated that Roundup-Ready soybean and non-transgenic soybeans are essentially dif-ferent in terms of tolerance to glyphosate for the introduction of glyphosate resistance gene to soybean.
