The improvement of soda-saline soil is a problem of the world.The experiences and achieve-ments of improving soda-saline soil in the west of Jilin province were introduced in the paper from improved soil engineering,water conservancy engineering,and biological engineering.At the same time,a new chance which offered by great project of the land development and consolidation in the west of Jilin province was proposed.
