The randomized block method was used to study the correlation between single plant yield and main characters such as plant height,the main stalk number,the potato number,the potato block’s average weight of the 16 varieties such as the ’spring potato 1’,’spring potato 5’,’Zaodabai’ and ’Eugene’ and so on.The results indicated that plant height and potato number were significantly positively correlated with the single plant yield,the correlation coefficient were 0.4851 and 0.4594,respectively.The potato block’s average weight was significantly positively correlated with the single plant yield,the correlation coefficient was 0.3180.The potato block’s average weight was significantly negatively correlated with potato number,the correlation coefficient was-0.6751.
