In recent years,3S technology has developed rapidly and been widely used in the field of agriculture all over the world.As the most important technical support of precision agriculture,3S tech-nology also made great progress in China.The technical characteristics and application status in Chinese agriculture of 3S were reviewed in the paper.As a result,the application prospects of 3S technology were also discussed.
