‘Bailv9’,a new mung bean variety,was bred by Baicheng City Academy of Agricultural Sciences in 1994.Its female parent was ‘Yinggelv 925’and its male parent was introduced line 88071.Bythe selections of seven generations,the stable line was selected in 2001.The original line was named ‘BL94108-3’.Bytwoyear yield comparison test,twoyear provincial regional test and one year ofproduction test,the results showed that the yields were increased significantly.It was approved by Jilin Provincial Approving Committee of the Crop Varietiesin 2007.
