’Jicao NO.2’, a forage sorghum hybrid crossed between sorghum sterile line T32A as female parent and Sudan grass YN2092 with red glume developed by pedigree breeding method as male parent,was bred by Institute of Crop Breeding,Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Jilin Province in 2007. ’Jicao NO.2’, with the characters of high yield,high content of crude protein,crude fat,and soluble sugar,and immune to sorghum head smut,high resistance to leaf spot,can be popularized in eastern grassland,western wetland,and northeastern farming and pastoral areas of Jilin Province.
