The new rice variety’Tongxi 930’was selected by cross breeding using’Tong35’as female parent and’Tong88-7’as male parent.It possessed characteristics of high yield,excellent quality,disease resistant,stress-resistant and wide suitability.The average yield of this variety was 8 893.3 kg/hm²,increased 7.1% comparing with the control variety’Tong35’at the regional experiment of Jilin Province.Its yield was 8 812.9 kg/hm² at the production test,increased 7.0% comparing with control.It is of great value in rice production and should be widespread.
