This experiment was carried out in Jilin Province in 2010-2011.Three treatments were adopted,including different planting times,different cultivation pattern,and treatments of leaves after spring harvest.Effect of different treatments on the growth and yield of strawberry was investigated.Results of this experiment indicated that the yield and economic benefit for strawberry planted in autumn was better than that in spring,and the optimum planting time was on August 10 to 25.The optimum cultivation pattern of the everbearing strawberry in the open in cold area was in flat bed.In addition,removing old leaves after harvest in spring rejuvenated the plant,so the production in the autumn increased and the fruit quality improved.
