Salt-sensitive buckwheat variet‘y TQ-0808’was used as experimental materials, and the effect of exogenous malic acid and citric acid with different concentrations on seeds germination and seedlings growth of buckwheat under salt stress was studied. The results showed that the appropriate concentration of exogenous malic acid and citric acid could obviously promote the seeds germination and seedlings growth of buckwheat under salt stress, especially the germination rate and vigor index of seeds and fresh weight of seedlings were more obvious. It indicated that the appropriate concentration of exogenous malic acid and citric acid had mitigation to salt stress, and the concentration of malic acid at 0.4 mmol/L and that of citric acid at 0.8 mmol/L had the best promoting effect on seeds germination and seedlings growth of buckwheat under salt stress.
