In response to some problems which come from traditional and irrational cultural methods in Jilin Province, the concept of conservation tillage（CT） was introduced, and the agricultural practical significance of conservation tillage in Jilin Province was discussed in this paper. The development prospect of conservation tillage was also put forward in the paper.
