The sowing experiment on three rotary tillage stubble-cleaning & ridge forming machines in maize was done in cold-humid region of Jilin Province to select the optimum machine. The results showed that stubble rate of Treatment 3 increased by 7.0% and 9.5% than Treatment 1 and Treatment 2, rate of emergence increased by 9.0% and 11.0%. The sowing effect in Treatment 3 was the best. Yield of Treatment 3 increased by 904 kg/hm2 and 975 kg/hm2 than Treatment 1 and Treatment 2, output value increased by 1808 yuan RMB/hm2 and 1905 yuan RMB/hm2. The machine in Treatment 3 was selected as the optimum rotary tillage stubble-cleaning & ridge forming machine.
