According to the natural climate characteristics of Baicheng and Yanbian in Jilin Province, growthduration of rice varieties was evaluated. Moreover, rice maturity and the influencing factors on it have been ana-lyzed. The rice growth period can be moved up or lagged by adjustment of fertilizing amount. As last, we predictedthe possibility of regulating rice growth duration in these two areas.
