Abstract:In order to propagate large amount of seedlings of Cerasus humilis rapidly, we try to using propaga-tion methods in vitro. In the test, taking shoot-tips as explants, the effects of different media formulations on the cal-lus induction and differentiation were researched in the induction phase. The results showed that MS + 0.6 mg/L KTwas the best medium for callus induction, and the induction rate reached 62%. MS + 0.5 mg/L KT + 0.2 mg/L IBAor MS + 1.0 mg/L KT + 0.2 mg/L IBA could be chosen as the medium for callus differentiation, the differentiationrate reached 80%, and the differentiation completed earlier, and larger number of adventitious buds differentiated.
