Digital agriculture is a new mode agriculture supported by biotechnology and information technology, and it is the development strategy of future agriculture. This paper introduced The connotation, characters, key technology and application status of digital agriculture all over the world were introduced in the paper. The study areas and direction of digital agriculture were prospected.
