In this experiment, Dorper ram introduced was selected as male parent, small-tail Han sheep was used as female parent. Improved effects of F1, F2 and F3 were determined. The performance of multi-born performance, primary birth weight and the weight of single, double and three births was tested to determine the improvement effect.The results showed that prolific trait of Duhan hybrid F1 and small-tail Han sheep was decreased but not significant,while that of F2 and F3 Generation were significantly lower than those of small tail Han sheep. Primary birth weightof single fetus in hybrid F1 generation, F2 generation and F3 generation was significantly higher than twin and three births(P<0.01). The weight of single fetus of 1 month, 2 month and 3 month old was significantly higher than the weight of the corresponding twin and three fetus(P<0.05). Although the single fetus was significantly bigger, the economic benefit was significantly lower than those of twins and triplets. Duhan has obvious hybrid advantages and significant effects. It is an ideal hybrid combination for meat sheep production and is suitable for application and demonstration.
