Based on the investigation and summary of the characteristics of weeds occurrence, herbicide resistance（tolerance）, main chemical control measures and existing problems in spring maize field of Jilin Province, countermeasures and suggestions were put forward, and the application technology of herbicide reduction and control in spring maize field in Jilin Province was also proposed.
