In order to explore the characteristics of the new rice variety Kendao 808 in the northern rice area, 12 pilot varieties were selected and tested in 11 regions of Henan, Shandong, Anhui and Jiangsu. According to the analysis of yield, agronomic characters, disease resistance and quality, Kendao 808 has good comprehensive characters,high and stable yield, good quality and good resistance. It is suitable to be planted along the Yellow River and Xinyang in Henan, south of Shandong, Huaibei in Jiangsu, and along Huaibei in Anhui.
