Since the implementation of the Rural Revitalization Strategy, the production capacity of Baicheng sorghum industry has been greatly improved. The development of Baicheng sorghum industry has the advantages of new varieties upgrading, simple and efficient cultivation techniques, comprehensive experimental station playing a supporting role in science and technology, and enhancing the market competitiveness of sorghum industry. However,there are still problems in the development of sorghum industry, such as unreasonable industrial structure, small scale of industrialization, lack of leading enterprises, imperfect interest connection mechanism of industrialized operation, imperfect marketing system and insufficient fund for modern agricultural development. The development of sorghum industry in Baicheng should seize the favorable opportunity provided by the Rural Revitalization Strategy for the development of agriculture and rural areas, focus on the dominant industries with advantages and characteristics, build the development base of rural industry, cultivate leading enterprises, build a modern marketing system,give full play to the service function of the government, construct the interest connection mechanism of industrialized operation, diversify the sources of funds, cultivate a stable talent team, and strive for the development of sorghum industry.
