Abstract:Sudden death syndrome(SDS) is one of the most important diseases in soybean production, which occurs in the United States, Canada, South Africa and some parts of Asia, resulting in a decline in soybean yield. Planting resistant varieties is an economically and environment-friendly method to mitigate the disease. QTL mapping of soybean SDS resistance is the theoretical basis of SDS resistance molecular breeding. In this paper, we reviewed the advance of gene mapping in soybean resistance to SDS and discussed the existing problems and development prospects.
