The root-knot nematode disease has been occurred in most areas of China presently, and the occurrence trend is increasingly serious. Root-knot nematode disease is a common disease in tomato planting process restricting the growth and production. For that, the research progress of pathogen types, hazard symptoms, pathogenic factors and control measures of root-knot nematode disease in tomato were reviewed in this paper. We hope this will help to provide reference for the effective prevention and control of tomato root-knot nematode diseases.
