To establish a colloidal gold immunochromatographic method for the rapid detection of procymidone residue in leek. Two haptens with different structures were synthesized and conjugated with a carrier protein. This process prepared the immunogen and coating antigen, leading to the production of a monoclonal antibody against procymidone. Using the principle of competitive inhibition, a visualized colloidal gold immunochromatography method was established. The detection limit of procymidone in leek was 5 mg/kg, which met the maximum residue limit of national standard. The results of this method were consistent with those of the liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry method. The established method is simple, rapid and accurate, which can be used for high-throughput screening of procymidone residues in leek.
